A 69-year-old man is behind bars in El Paso after police say a neighbor recorded him exposing himself to two pit bull mixes and letting the dogs lick his genitals in the Segundo Barrio neighborhood. Jimmy Nerio was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a bestiality charge, with bond set at $2,500.

Witness Says Incident Unfolded During Dinner

According to KTSM, the alleged act took place around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, in the 1000 block of St. Vrain. Per the arrest report cited by KFOX, a witness who was eating dinner at the time saw Nerio pull down his shorts so the dogs would lick his genitals, and the alleged act lasted about 20 minutes.

The witness recorded the incident on a cell phone and called police, according to the arrest report referenced by KFOX. Officers were then dispatched to the 1000 block of St. Vrain the next day, Oct. 22, in response to a report of animal cruelty, according to KTSM and Noticias El Paso. Dogs Belonged to Someone Else, Remain in Owner's Care

The two pit bull mixes involved did not belong to Nerio, the report notes. Following his arrest, the dogs remained in the care of their owner, according to the El Paso Police Department.

Nerio was booked into the El Paso County Downtown Jail on Friday and charged with bestiality, held on a $2,500 bond. Detectives with the El Paso Police Department's Animal Cruelty Unit handled the arrest, according to Noticias El Paso.
