Knoxville's own Emily Ann Roberts is coming home. The singer, who appeared on Blake Shelton's team on The Voice, is set to headline the Tennessee Theatre on Feb. 6, 2027, as part of her first-ever headlining tour, a 23-city run dubbed The Thread Tour.
The stop is part of a 23-city run that will take Roberts to venues across the country beginning in February 2027, according to musicmayhemmagazine.com. The Knoxville date is Feb. 6.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, the outlet reports. The run arrives in support of Roberts' latest EP, Thread, which was released Oct. 16 through RECORDS Nashville/Sony Music Nashville.
A Hometown Crowd That Keeps Selling Out
Knoxville audiences have already shown they will show up for Roberts. According to the Knoxville News Sentinel, the singer's recent shows at the Bijou Theatre both sold out. The first of those performances, on March 3, 2025, sold out within an hour of tickets going on sale, prompting Roberts to add a second date due to popular demand.
That second show was scheduled for Nov. 7, alongside a previously announced Nov. 8 performance, the Knoxville outlet's earlier report noted. The Nov. 7 concert ultimately became the first of two sold-out nights at the Bijou.
Those two dates marked Roberts' first time headlining in her hometown since her sold-out Can't Hide Country album release show in 2023, the station notes. That track record of sellouts helps explain why her move to a larger stage, the historic Tennessee Theatre, comes as little surprise to fans who have watched tickets vanish fast in recent years.
From Reality TV Runner-Up to Headliner
Roberts appeared on Blake Shelton's team on The Voice. Local demand led to a second Bijou date, and Roberts is now embarking on her first solo headlining tour. The Thread Tour represents a new chapter for the Knoxville singer, who is now bringing her music to iconic venues across the country rather than relying solely on regional dates.
Fans hoping to catch Roberts at the Tennessee Theatre will want to act during the ticket windows opening this week, given how quickly her previous Knoxville shows have sold out.
