St. Louis woke Tuesday to fog, but the murk is on borrowed time. Skies should turn sunny as the morning unfolds, with temperatures climbing to about 81 degrees and no rain in sight.
Fog Clears For A Sunny Tuesday
River-valley fog could linger into the early morning before lifting around 8 a.m., according to the National Weather Service in St. Louis. After that, winds will become southerly to southwesterly as a clear, increasingly warm afternoon unfolds, and no watches, warnings or advisories are posted for the area.
Wednesday Brings The Week’s Biggest Warmup
Wednesday is shaping up to be the week’s hottest day so far, with sunshine and a high near 89 degrees. The new forecast is a sharper warmup than the outlook covered in Monday’s Hoodline forecast, which had called for a high near 87.
Warm Weather Sticks Around Through Monday
Thursday will be sunny and near 82 degrees, followed by another sunny 83-degree day Friday. Saturday could reach 86, and Sunday should top out around 86. Monday is expected to be mostly sunny and very warm.
Rain chances are low Saturday, during the day and at night. For outdoor plans, the practical forecast is simple: bring a light layer for the morning, then expect conditions that feel more like late summer by afternoon, as outlined by the National Weather Service.
