Cincinnati is waking up to a foggy Sunday, but the gray will be brief: skies are expected to clear before 9 a.m. and temperatures will climb from the low 40s to a sunny high near 74. With no rain in the forecast and barely any wind, the city is set up for a warm afternoon after a chilly start.
Fog Fades, Sunshine Takes Over
Early Sunday, fog and reduced visibility were reported near Lunken Airport. The National Weather Service expects the fog to lift before 9 a.m., followed by sunny skies and a light east wind around 1 mph. The National Weather Service forecast calls for a dry day from start to finish.
Sunday night will stay mostly clear with a low near 45. Monday will be mostly sunny and just as mild, reaching about 75, while Tuesday and Wednesday remain mostly sunny to partly sunny with highs in the mid-70s. Winds should remain light, generally 0 to 3 mph.
Warm, Dry Stretch Holds Through Friday
The mild pattern brings above-normal temperatures, with overnight lows reaching the upper 40s to lower 50s by midweek. The National Weather Service discussion says dry conditions should continue through the week, giving outdoor plans a generous weather window.
