Milwaukee is in for a sharp midweek weather swing: Tuesday is partly sunny with a high near 60, then temperatures climb into the low 70s Wednesday. Mild weather will continue into the weekend, with shower and thunderstorm chances arriving late Wednesday night and returning at times through Halloween weekend.
Tuesday night could bring light rain or drizzle as clouds decrease and southerly winds weaken, with a low near 51 degrees. For Tuesday, the National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan forecast gives about a 10% chance of precipitation, with isolated drizzle or sprinkles possible; winds turn southeasterly in the afternoon.
Wednesday Brings The Week’s Warmest Weather
Wednesday is the standout day, with temperatures climbing into the low 70s. That is a considerable rebound from Tuesday’s cooler weather and should make for the best outdoor window of the week.
Rain chances increase later Wednesday night into early Thursday, with a 30% to 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms as a front brings light rain and a small chance of thunder, according to the National Weather Service. Thursday itself stays mild, with a high near 70 and a 40% chance of precipitation in Hoodline’s earlier forecast.
Rain Chances Build Into Halloween Weekend
Rain chances return Friday and continue into Friday night.
Rain chances remain in the forecast at times through the weekend and into Monday, with temperatures staying mild. The outlook is wetter than the earlier forecast published by Hoodline.
Lake Michigan boaters should also keep an eye on marine conditions, with a Small Craft Advisory posted for portions of the lake through Tuesday. No land-based watches or warnings are listed for Milwaukee.
