Glow at the Gardens returns to Denver Botanic Gardens on Oct. 15-18 (Thursday through Sunday) and Oct. 21-24 (Wednesday through Saturday), from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The grounds will feature illuminated pathways, live performers and sculptures made from locally grown pumpkins.
The event is billed as Denver Botanic Garden's fall celebration, according to 9News. The gardens' event page says the displays, from jack-o'-lanterns to larger sculptures, are carved from real pumpkins grown locally.
Visitors can choose among three color-coded, one-way paths and explore them in any order, the gardens' event page notes. The gardens describe the experience as family-friendly and not very scary, while noting that some areas include spooky illusions, props and sound effects.
