Move-ins are officially underway at Juniper, a 416-unit apartment community at 201 Mill Road in Everett. The building is Greystar's fifth and final residential project in the Everett Triangle, closing out a build-out that began with an industrial patch of the city. And yes, there is a nine-hole mini golf course.

According to the Everett Independent, Juniper offers 416 apartments with over 15,000 square feet of dedicated amenity space and nearly an acre of green space. Boston Real Estate Times reports the community also adds 6,500 square feet of retail space.

Pickleball, Bocce and a Pet Spa

The outdoor lineup includes a pickleball court, a dog park, a bocce court and that miniature golf course, per the same Boston Real Estate Times account. Inside, the amenities include a modern fitness suite and a community pet spa, while a community garden rounds out the shared spaces, according to the Everett Independent.

Greystar's own Juniper listing page describes three private courtyards with a pool, grills and firepits. The company's marketing page was the only source for that detail, and it was not independently verified whether every amenity is open to residents yet.

Apartment interiors feature large-pane windows, modern kitchens with quartz countertops, built-in pantry storage and in-unit washers and dryers, the Real Estate Times piece notes.

Half a Mile to the Chelsea Station

Juniper sits roughly half a mile from the Chelsea MBTA station, which the Everett Independent says serves Silver Line and commuter rail passengers. Greystar residents have direct access to Boston's South and North stations, the Seaport and multiple bus routes, the paper adds.

The location is central to Greystar's pitch. The company has said Multifamily Executive reported that “It can cost 60% more to live a mile closer to the city,” a factor that fed its focus on affordability in Everett.

Art on the Walls, a Mural Still to Come

Greystar teamed up with Mary Lacy to curate artwork for the building, which currently features two interior murals. An external mural is slated to be installed in summer 2027, per the Everett Independent.

Ryan Souls, Greystar's managing director of development, said Juniper's first residents mark an important milestone for the company's Everett portfolio and for the Triangle's evolution into a complete, connected residential neighborhood, according to the same report.

Five Projects, One Neighborhood

Juniper follows Mason, which opened in 2023 with 330 units, and Anthem Everett, which delivered 450 units in summer 2024. Maxwell welcomed first move-ins in December 2024, and Jade welcomed its first residents in June 2025, the Everett Independent reports.

Greystar broke ground on Juniper in the summer of 2024, ConnectCRE reported. A groundbreaking-era report said the communities together are expected to deliver more than 100 affordable units to Everett, though their number and locations were not verified.

The totals depend on who is counting. The newer reports describe the five developments as a combined $880 million investment and 1,905 new apartment homes. An earlier trade report instead cited a total development cost of approximately $875 million for over 1,900 units.

Beyond the Triangle, Greystar has developed more than 2,000 housing units across Massachusetts to date. Banker & Tradesman notes that this summer the company began construction on the 390-unit Whittenton Mills redevelopment in Taunton.

Prospective residents can look at available apartment homes at juniperevt.com. Rents, lease terms and Juniper's occupancy were not part of the reporting reviewed.
