Knoxville is waking Monday to mostly clear skies, a mid-40s chill and a little fog before 10 a.m. The payoff arrives by afternoon, when sunshine pushes temperatures to about 73 degrees. With calm winds and no rain expected, it’s a jacket-at-breakfast, short-sleeves-by-lunch kind of day.
Sunny 70s Hold Through Friday
The warm, dry pattern sticks around for most of the week. Tuesday should reach 75 degrees, Wednesday 74 and Thursday 72 to 73. Friday should bring similar conditions, with mostly sunny to mostly cloudy skies and little to no wind.
Overnight temperatures will remain cooler, dipping to around 46 degrees Monday night before settling mostly in the upper 40s. The National Weather Service says afternoon humidity will run low on several days, but no watches, warnings or advisories are listed.
Halloween Looks Mild Before Showers Move In
Saturday daytime stays mild, with highs in the mid-to-upper 70s and skies ranging from partly sunny to mostly cloudy. Clouds increase Saturday night, with rain chances looking more likely toward Sunday or later.
Rain chances may return around Halloween, but look more likely toward Sunday or later. That is a meaningful change from Hoodline’s earlier forecast, which had Halloween weekend looking largely dry.
A Cool Start Monday
Monday starts cool, with a Knoxville low of 46 degrees. Winds are expected to stay near calm through the week, leaving the biggest daily swing between cool mornings and mild afternoons.
