Grapevine's Hotel Vin is putting a glass-walled Champagne bar on its patio this holiday season. The Mumm Napa Champagne Bar will be an outdoor greenhouse with around 22 seats, serving mixed drinks, beer and wine from November until February. It is slated for the hotel's northeast dining patio and, for now, is planned for the 2026 holiday season only.
The greenhouse is part of the seasonal decorations around Grapevine Main Station, Community Impact reports. The structure will measure 374 square feet. Seats will line the interior walls, with three cocktail tables set up in the middle.
The hotel received approval from the city council and the planning and zoning commission at their Oct. 20 meeting, according to the same report. The coverage does not say when construction will begin or exactly when the bar will open to guests.
A Canvas Entryway to Fend Off Winter Wind
The greenhouse wasn't the only item on the hotel's approval list. Hotel Vin will also begin installing a canvas vestibule every year in front of the east doors that lead to Harvest Hall. The idea is to keep winter weather from blowing into the building.
“We are putting up a temporary structure that should give two doors to block that wind and debris coming in,” Hotel Vin General Manager Richard Wales said in the report. According to the city, leaves and debris blown into the kitchen prep area also create a health code issue.
The vestibule is planned for November through March each year. It cannot stay up for more than 180 days.
Part of a Bigger Holiday Lineup
The hotel's wider holiday festivities are scheduled to run from Nov. 13 through Feb. 14, 2027, per CW33. The station adds that the Holly Jolly Bar at Harvest Hall will feature holiday cocktails, festive décor and live entertainment. Hotel Vin sits near the Christmas Village, the Peace Plaza Ice Rink and the Grapevine Vintage Railroad.
The hotel has a track record of themed seasonal setups. Last year's lineup included Winter Wonderland Bubbles, a Texas Tini Martini Bar and a Veuve Clicquot Champagne Yurt, CW33 reported at the time. The bubbles were bookable through OpenTable for $260, accommodating up to five guests for a 90-minute session.
Grapevine leans hard into the season. The city hosts more than 1,400 holiday events and displays millions of lights across the area, according to another CW33 piece. Details such as operating hours and reservation requirements for the Champagne greenhouse have not been announced.
