Jo Koy is set to take the stage at Detroit's Fox Theatre Saturday night, bringing his family-rooted brand of stand-up comedy to downtown for a single show at 8 p.m. The appearance is part of his Koy Meets World Tour, which has been making stops across the country this year.
The Fox Theatre date is confirmed on the venue's own events page, where 313 Presents describes the show simply: “Comedian Jo Koy brings his ‘Koy Meets World Tour’ to the Fox Theatre on Saturday, October 24 at 8 p.m.” The date and time are echoed across major ticket marketplaces, including Ticketmaster, which lists the Koy Meets World Tour stop at Fox Theatre Detroit for Oct. 24, 2026.
Other resale and marketplace sites carry the same listing. SeatGeek's event page shows Jo Koy performing at Fox Theatre Detroit on Oct. 24 at 8 p.m., while Vivid Seats' listing points fans toward the same date and venue for the performance. StubHub likewise has the show up on its site, noting fans can see Jo Koy live at Fox Theatre Detroit on Oct. 24 at 8 p.m.
A Busy Comedy and Concert Weekend Downtown
Jo Koy's stop isn't the only live show drawing crowds to Detroit this weekend. A SeatGeek snapshot of the city's weekend lineup also shows comedian Bassem Youssef performing Friday at The Fillmore Detroit and musician Whethan playing Saturday at The Majestic Theatre, giving entertainment-seekers a few different options depending on the night.
Jo Koy has built his stand-up career on routines inspired by his own family, a throughline that's carried across his specials and his film work. He starred in the 2022 comedy “Easter Sunday,” a film that pays homage to his Filipino roots, and he also hosted the 2024 Golden Globes, putting him in front of one of the entertainment industry's biggest annual audiences.
What Fans Should Know Before Buying
Anyone planning to attend Saturday's show should expect pricing and availability to shift depending on the marketplace and how close to showtime they're buying. As reported by MLive, ticket listings can vary across platforms for the same event, so comparing a few sites before purchasing is generally worthwhile. The Fox Theatre show marks another stop on a tour that has kept Jo Koy busy crisscrossing the country this fall, with Detroit getting its turn this weekend.
