JoJo's Mediterranean Grill is packing up its West Hollywood storefront and moving just down the block, shifting from 8000 Sunset Blvd. to 7950 Sunset Blvd. on the morning of October 30. Owner Malik Haddad says the new spot offers something the old one couldn't: more eyes on the restaurant from the street.

Lease Ending Pushed the Move

The relocation comes as the restaurant's lease at its current address winds down, according to WhatNow. Haddad told the outlet that a new property management team helped bring JoJo's into the 7950 Sunset Blvd. space, and that the location simply gives the business more exposure on the street than its predecessor did.

The new storefront will open daily at 8:30 a.m., according to the same report, with plans for a menu that leans harder into breakfast than before. Expect omelettes, steak and eggs, and bagels with cream cheese, alongside grab-and-go bagel and croissant sandwiches loaded with egg and cheese for people in a hurry. The restaurant will also pour Lavazza coffee drinks and seat guests on what the report describes as a large patio.

Still Rooted in Lebanese Cooking

Despite the breakfast additions, JoJo's isn't abandoning the Mediterranean and Lebanese dishes that built its following, including hummus, kebabs, salads and wraps. Haddad has described the cuisine as authentic Lebanese cooking, and per the same account, he's said the restaurant's mission is to help people understand real Lebanese cuisine rather than a watered-down version of it.

That mission traces back to the restaurant's earlier days in Tarzana, where it was billed as the neighborhood's newest Lebanese restaurant at Ventura and Reseda boulevards, according to Our Ventura Blvd. That earlier writeup also noted Haddad relocated to the area from the Detroit region before building out the JoJo's concept.

A Conflicting Picture on North Hollywood

Where things get murky is the status of JoJo's other listed location. WhatNow's report states that JoJo's operates a second location at 5200 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood, and the restaurant's own website still advertises convenient locations in both West Hollywood and North Hollywood. But Yelp's listing for the North Hollywood address was updated in October 2026 to mark the business as closed, leaving the location's current status unresolved between the sources.

November Deals and a Bigger SoCal Push

To mark the move, JoJo's plans to offer $5 chicken shawarma and falafel sandwiches throughout November, and guests who check in on Facebook will receive a free drink, per the WhatNow report. Beyond the West Hollywood shuffle, Haddad is thinking well past Sunset Blvd. He hopes to open locations in Anaheim, near Orange, and in Rancho Cucamonga by the end of 2027, and the business is also exploring potential spots in Santa Monica, the Pasadena area, and communities closer to Torrance and Long Beach.

Whether all of those expansion plans land on schedule remains to be seen, but for now the focus is squarely on getting the doors open at 7950 Sunset Blvd. JoJo's website describes the business overall as offering dine-in, takeout, delivery and full-service catering, a model Haddad appears intent on carrying into whichever new neighborhoods come next.
