Grand Prix Plaza plans to add Kids Karts for drivers at least 48 inches tall, with the karts offered during Family Sprint Sessions. The sessions are intended to let younger drivers race alongside adults in slower karts. A new F1-themed indoor playground within F1 DRIVE will give younger visitors another activity, according to Vegas24Seven’s report.

The report says additional Kids Karts information, including packages, prices and scheduling, will be released later. It also describes planned F1 DRIVE updates: easier overtaking, updated steering wheels across the adult kart fleet and an F1-inspired Cool Down Room.

What visitors can expect on the return

Grand Prix Plaza is scheduled to reopen Friday, Jan. 8, 2027. Its returning attractions are F1 X, F1 DRIVE, F1 simulators, the F1 HUB retail store and Fuel & Fork, the restaurant and lounge, according to FOX5 Las Vegas and Vegas24Seven.

Private bookings

Three new rooms are planned for private events, including corporate gatherings, team-building and celebrations. The Boardroom, on the third floor, will hold up to 50 people, with a meeting table for up to 20. Vegas24Seven reports that it will display F1 memorabilia supplied by F1 Authentics, including show cars, racing suits and helmets, and include simulators and a pit stop challenge.

The Circuit Suite is designed for groups of about 10 to 30 and will have two F1 simulators, televisions and furnishings. The Podium Suite will accommodate up to 40 people and is intended for occasions including birthdays and bachelor or bachelorette parties, according to the same report.

Food and ticket updates

Fuel & Fork is expected to return for the 2027 season with a refreshed menu and seasonal offerings, Vegas24Seven reports. FOX5 says tickets for the season are expected to go on sale in the coming weeks; visitors can sign up at grandprixplaza.com for reopening updates, information and offers.
