Lancaster County Home Prices in Early 2025
The county's median sales price topped $430,000 in the first three months of 2025, running 5.8% higher than the Charlotte region's $406,900 median, according to heraldonline.com. The region's overall average sales price reached $520,118 during that period, compared with $464,606 in Lancaster County.
Through the first three months of 2025, Lancaster County recorded 218 home sales, trailing Fort Mill's 432 and Rock Hill's 429, per the same report. In the same year-to-date period, York, Lancaster and Chester counties combined for 1,813 sales, or 17.4% of the entire Charlotte region's tally. Those three counties also saw million-dollar-plus home sales climb to 185 in 2024, up from 135 the year before.
