A life-sized version of Minecraft is about to take over Pullman Yards. Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is set to open at the Atlanta venue on Nov. 20, bringing an hour-long, team-based mission through the game's blocky biomes to 225 Rogers St. NE.

The attraction, reported by Secret Atlanta, asks guests to explore environments, collect resources, battle mobs and complete challenges as part of a villager rescue storyline. Public tickets launch Wednesday, Oct. 21, and in the meantime fans can join a waitlist for early access, according to the same report.

Every guest is handed an Orb of Interaction at the start of the adventure, a device that, per Minecraft Experience's official site, lets players break blocks, damage hostile mobs and gather resources as they move through the world. The experience is described on that site as an hour-long rescue mission that winds through multiple in-game biomes, according to the attraction's plan-your-visit page.

Who's Behind the Build and What You Get

The touring attraction is produced by Experience MOD and Supply + Demand, and the official site touts that it has drawn 1 million visitors globally. Anyone who completes the mission walks away with a limited-edition half-zombie, half-villager cape, a nod to the game's signature mob mashups.

Beyond the mission itself, the venue includes a Trading Post stocked with apparel, toys, souvenirs and other Minecraft-themed collectibles, per the official site. Secret Atlanta's report notes the experience is designed for fans of all ages, with particular appeal to children 7 and up, and that visitors to the experience in other cities have described it as fun, interactive and engaging for Minecraft fans.

Age Rules for Kids

There's one detail families will want to nail down before buying tickets: the age-supervision policy. Secret Atlanta reports that children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Visitor guidance says guests 15 and under must be accompanied by someone 18 or older. Parents may want to confirm the applicable rule with organizers before heading to Pullman Yards.

The official guidance also flags that the event may include strobe lighting, flashing lights, loud music, fog and other sensory effects, and that the interactive format may involve physical movement and contact with set elements. That's worth keeping in mind for anyone sensitive to those conditions or traveling with younger kids.

Part of a Bigger Touring Footprint

Pullman Yards joins a growing list of stops for the traveling production. Minecraft.net has described the attraction as an immersive touring experience intended to move between cities worldwide, and it previously reported the experience officially opened in Dallas back in October 2024. The official FAQ also lists American Dream in New Jersey as a current location for the limited-time build, and the Minecraft Wiki describes the format as running in-person with groups of up to 25 participants at a time.

No Atlanta-specific ticket prices, hours or parking details have been released yet beyond the Nov. 20 opening and the Oct. 21 ticket launch. For now, Minecraft fans in the metro area can mark both dates and watch for further details as the attraction's debut approaches.
