Saturday’s southwest winds are forecast to run 5 to 8 mph, with occasional stronger gusts possible during the afternoon. The National Weather Service in Denver/Boulder describes possible Saturday Denver-area outflow gusts of 25 to 30 knots.
Sunday stays warm, with clouds decreasing and a high near 83. Conditions remain mainly dry in Denver, while the best chance for light showers and isolated storms stays closer to the mountains.
Columbus Day Brings One More Warm Finish
Monday should bring another sunny day with a high near 82 before a cooler air mass arrives. Cooler temperatures are expected Tuesday, with rain chances increasing Tuesday night and continuing into Wednesday.
Wednesday looks cooler and unsettled, with a high near 67 and a chance of rain showers. The forecast for Thursday remains uncertain.
