House of Yes is scheduled to host Miss Cherry Delight on Nov. 4. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the performance beginning at 7:30 p.m.; tickets start at $30, VIP options are available, and the show is listed as 21-plus, according to amNewYork. The venue’s FAQ gives its address as 2 Wyckoff Ave. and says the entrance is around the corner at 408 Jefferson Street.
What the event includes
The concert is built around a complete performance of Miss Cherry Delight’s second album, Advice For Ashes, with her band. AmNewYork also reports that Broadway performer Laura Lee Anderson and Late Cambrian singer John Wlaysewski are expected as guest vocalists, and that the program will include music videos directed by Dylan Mars Greenberg and Adam Ninyo.
The supporting program is set to combine sideshow and burlesque with additional musical performances. AmNewYork names performers across those categories, including Pearls Daily, and reports that Poxxa Ponnyou will emcee. This account does not reproduce the full roster.
The album and birthday
AmNewYork reports that the album took seven years to produce, with contributions from Vision Video, Nite, Ashley Bad and Marieke Bresseleers. The outlet says the record honors Frankie Maddox Rex, the late lead singer of The FMs, who died in 2022. Its report also identifies Nov. 4, 1986, as Miss Cherry Delight’s birth date, making the concert a 40th-birthday event.
