A new event space built inside a former downtown antique shop opened its doors Thursday in New Braunfels, giving couples, companies and party planners another option for weddings, receptions and corporate gatherings in the heart of the city. Cowboy Hall opened at 214 San Antonio St., Ste. B, with room for up to 150 guests.
The venue is owned by Shaina Corzine, who also owns Luxe Design Studio and Red Stag, according to Community Impact. Cowboy Hall can accommodate weddings, receptions, corporate events, holiday parties, baby showers, fundraisers and seminars, per the outlet's reporting. While the space can technically hold 150 people, Corzine said the ideal capacity is 130.
Corzine said she and her partners saw a need for an event space downtown and decided to convert the unit to meet it. The space previously housed La Belle Vie, a home goods and antique store, and the renovation preserved the building's original floors, ceilings and tiles, the report notes.
A Built-In Food and Drink Connection
Cowboy Hall is directly connected to Cowboys and Cadillacs, which will provide food and drink for events held at the new hall. Staff will deliver food directly from the Cowboys and Cadillacs kitchen to Cowboy Hall gatherings, a setup Corzine said sets the venue apart from traditional event catering, per the same account. Customers can still bring their own specialty cakes, and Cowboy Hall supplies the dinnerware, glassware, tables and chairs for events.
Cowboys and Cadillacs itself is a multi-level rooftop bar and lounge at 125 N. Castell Ave., offering crafted cocktails, gourmet bites and live music, according to its listing on Visit New Braunfels. Cowboy Hall will also serve as a weather backup for rooftop events at Cowboys and Cadillacs, a detail Community Impact's reporting attributes to previous coverage of the venue. As of the hall's opening, no website or social media account was yet available for Cowboy Hall.
Joining a Growing Downtown Event Scene
Cowboy Hall isn't the only new addition to New Braunfels' event space lineup this year. Canopy on the Comal, a wedding and event venue at 444 E. San Antonio St., opened in January under owners Greg and Monique Weston, who also run 444 Tubing Company. That venue offers indoor and outdoor spaces with a total capacity of roughly 700 guests, though its indoor rooms hold between 100 and 200 people, and it had been accepting reservations for the 2026-2027 wedding season as of February.
Together, the two openings point to steady demand for places to host weddings and corporate gatherings in and around downtown New Braunfels, even as Cowboy Hall carves out its own niche with a smaller, more intimate footprint tied directly to an existing rooftop bar. For now, anyone curious about booking Cowboy Hall will need to reach out directly, since the venue has yet to launch a website or social presence of its own.
