Shaky's Juice Bar & Café is leaving its North Bergen home turf for new territory, setting up shop at 190 Main Street in Ridgefield Park. It will be the health-focused juice and sandwich spot's first location in Bergen County, bringing its açaí bowls, cold-pressed juices and smoothies to a new crowd of regulars.
According to Boozy Burbs, which first reported the expansion, Shaky's is taking over the Main Street space previously occupied by 4 Seasons Crepes. That former tenant is now listed as closed, according to a Yelp listing for the address. Boozy Burbs reports that construction is already underway to prepare the space for its next life as a juice bar, and that signage announcing the Ridgefield Park location is already up at the storefront.
Shaky's built its following at its original café at 6235 Kennedy Boulevard in North Bergen, where it's listed on Uber Eats under the categories sandwich, juice and smoothies, and cafe, per the Uber Eats storefront page. The North Bergen location has built a loyal following online, with the delivery platform showing a 4.9 rating from more than 5,000 ratings.
What's On the Menu
Per Boozy Burbs, Shaky's specializes in health-focused food and drinks, with a menu built around cold-pressed juices, smoothies, açaí and smoothie bowls, salads and sandwiches. Customer reviews on the Uber Eats page echo that reputation, with one reviewer writing, “Definitely my fave smoothie bowls and juices.”
The café also keeps an active social presence tied to its North Bergen roots. Its Instagram account, run under the handle @shakys.healthylicious, has built over 1,380 followers across nearly 400 posts. On Facebook, the business describes itself simply as a “Juice Bar, Coffee, Sandwiches and Salads” spot, with its page showing 137 followers and 180 people who've checked in as having visited.
No Opening Date Yet
Boozy Burbs reports that Shaky's has not announced an opening date for the Ridgefield Park location. For now, the storefront signage on Main Street stands as the clearest public sign that the brand's expansion into Bergen County is moving forward, even as the timeline for a grand opening remains unclear.
