Visitors can see 15 fresh-flower mannequins at Boston's Prudential Center from Nov. 4 through Nov. 8, 2026. The free display, called Fleurs de Villes WONDER, will be on the center's retail level and is the first U.S. presentation of this particular theme.
The mannequins will be created by local floral artists and placed throughout the retail level at 800 Boylston St., according to Prudential Center. WONDER takes its subject from the natural world, including landmarks, ecosystems, botanical rarities and natural phenomena. The exhibition format uses flowers to transform mannequins into sculptural displays, as Boston.com reports.
The Fleurs de Villes event page lists the exhibit as open to all from Nov. 4 through Nov. 8. The organizers describe WONDER as a U.S. premiere, meaning this version of the theme has not previously been presented in the country.
Four Years of Floral Displays at the Pru
The 2026 show will be the fourth consecutive year Fleurs de Villes has appeared at the Prudential Center, according to Boston.com. The 2025 edition took place Nov. 5 through Nov. 9 and drew on Downton Abbey for its floral designs. The event archive lists additional installations that year at Earls Prudential, View Boston, Boston Marriott Copley Place and Sheraton Boston Hotel.
The series has also used the mannequins to explore subjects beyond period drama. In 2023, its VOYAGE theme featured 16 flower-covered mannequins representing cultures from China to Jamaica, according to Boston.com's reporting. This year's focus shifts to natural landmarks and phenomena.
What Visitors Know About WONDER
The 15 mannequins will be displayed across the Prudential Center's retail level. Organizers have not specified which natural subjects will appear in individual designs, so particular examples should not be assumed.
The five-day run and free admission are confirmed, but daily hours and any installations outside the retail level have not been announced. The display opens Nov. 4.
Other Floral Events and Getting to the Pru
Boston has other floral-art events with different settings and formats. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, held its Art in Bloom festival May 1–3, 2026, pairing floral interpretations with works from its collection; the tradition dates to 1976, according to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. A separate historical example: the City of Boston listed a ticketed Flower & Garden Show preview party at the Seaport World Trade Center on March 13, 2012.
For transit, the Prudential Center says the Green Line E train's Prudential stop exits into the center. That access information does not establish the exhibit's daily hours, which have not been announced.
