A Randolph man has been sentenced to 90 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to cocaine trafficking and firearm charges stemming from an investigation into a Brockton-based gang and its affiliates. London Cohen will also serve three years of supervised release once his prison term ends.

U.S. District Court Judge Brian E. Murphy handed down the sentence in Boston, according to a Justice Department announcement reported by Newport Dispatch. Cohen pleaded guilty in June to one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and one count of possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime, according to the FBI's Boston field office. The Justice Department identified Cohen as 37 years old in its sentencing announcement, though Boston 25 News had listed him as 36 when he was charged.

A Years-Long Investigation Reaches Randolph

Cohen was one of eight men with ties to the Brockton-based Harvard Street Gang and its Randolph-based affiliates arrested on federal drug-trafficking and firearm charges, per Boston 25's reporting. He was charged in February after authorities executed search warrants targeting residences and stash houses connected to the gang and its affiliates. Investigators searched numerous residences in Boston, Randolph, Taunton, West Bridgewater and Brockton, according to the same report.

Those warrant executions across the region turned up 15 firearms, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, more than 50 pounds of marijuana, roughly three kilograms of cocaine, fentanyl and other drugs, and approximately $38,000 in cash, the outlet reported. A separate figure from the same report put the broader seizure from the Brockton, Randolph and other eastern Massachusetts search warrants at 25 guns and multiple kilograms of drugs, though it was not specified how that tally relates to the 15-firearm figure.

Long History of the Harvard Street Gang Probe

The Harvard Street Gang, based in Brockton, has been under investigation since 2019, with the probe expanding in 2025 to include the gang's Randolph-based affiliates, Boston 25 reported.

In a related case, a Brockton man associated with the gang was sentenced to 12 years in prison for selling fentanyl to a cooperating witness during multiple controlled purchases, according to a separate Justice Department announcement that said machineguns and kilograms of fentanyl were recovered during that investigation's searches.

Cohen's 90-month sentence adds to a growing list of lengthy federal prison terms tied to the years-long crackdown on the Harvard Street Gang network, which has stretched from Brockton into Randolph and beyond.
