Tennessee's Missing-Child Alert System
According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, AMBER Alerts are reserved for the most serious missing-child cases in which law enforcement believes a child is in imminent danger; the TBI is the only agency in Tennessee that can issue one. The state also uses Endanger Child Alerts and a Missing Children List for children age 17 and younger.
Anyone with information about Long’s whereabouts was asked to call Hardin County Dispatch at 911 or the Savannah Police Department at 731-925-3200.
