SeaWorld Orlando is flipping the switch on its Christmas Celebration this week, with the holiday event running on select dates from Nov. 6, 2026, through Jan. 4, 2027. The seasonal takeover brings millions of sparkling lights, a towering Sea of Trees and snow flurries along the Waterfront, and it's all included with regular theme park admission.

According to SeaWorld Orlando, the centerpiece of the Sea of Trees display stands 70 feet tall, surrounded by trees described as dancing around it. The Waterfront area will also feature marching toy soldiers and twirling ballerinas alongside the snow flurries, according to a release distributed via PR Newswire. The celebration has previously been recognized by USA Today's 10Best as one of the nation's top holiday theme park events, per the same release.

Orcas, Ice Skaters and Puppets Take the Stage

Live entertainment anchors the event, starting with the return of Miracles, a nighttime presentation pairing a holiday soundtrack with orca performances. As WKMG reports, Miracles is returning for the first time since 2019, and SeaWorld is giving annual pass members an exclusive first look at the show. Winter Wonderland on Ice also returns to the lineup on select dates running Nov. 7 through Jan. 5, per the prnewswire release.

Other returning shows include O Wondrous Night, a retelling of the first Christmas featuring more than 30 carols along with life-size puppets and live animals. The Sesame Street Christmas Parade and Elmo's Christmas Wish round out family-oriented programming, while Clyde & Seamore's Countdown to Christmas brings what the release calls signature heart and humor to its stage. Each night wraps with Holiday Reflections, a fireworks finale set to holiday music, according to WKMG.

New Bites Join Returning Holiday Favorites

Food and drink offerings have been refreshed for this year's run, though all purchases require an additional cost beyond park admission. New menu additions include three cheese ravioli in chardonnay cream with prosciutto, ropa vieja festiva with tostones, and Lotus Biscoff cookie butter beignets, per WKMG's reporting. Two new cocktails, the Snow Globe Spritz and the Fireside S'mores Punch, join returning favorites like the gingerbread martini and rosemary garlic lamb chops.

Guests can also gather at fire pits scattered through the park to toast marshmallows and make s'mores, according to WKMG. Santa Claus will greet visitors in the Waterway Grill, with Dinner with Santa offered on select nights, per SeaWorld Orlando. For comparison, last year's celebration offered more than 40 treats and specialty beverages through its holiday food booths, according to Orlando Insider Vacations, which also reported the 2025 event featured more than 3 million lights.

Cultural Celebrations and a New Year's Send-Off

Beyond the core Christmas programming, SeaWorld is marking several cultural traditions throughout the season. Hanukkah festivities run Dec. 4 through Dec. 12, 2026, and Kwanzaa celebrations follow from Dec. 26, 2026, through Jan. 1, 2027, according to WKMG. SeaWorld's cultural celebrations include nightly traditions, performances and festive cuisine, the outlet reports, and the park will also hold its Three Kings Celebration from Jan. 3 through Jan. 6, 2027.

The season closes out with a New Year's Eve celebration featuring fireworks and festive entertainment on Dec. 31, according to the prnewswire release. The addition of cultural observances and a New Year's program reflects how the event has grown beyond a single holiday theme in recent years, with last year's run also incorporating Hanukkah and Kwanzaa elements, per Orlando Insider Vacations' earlier coverage.
