Staind is bringing its Grammy-nominated rock pedigree back to Omaha, with the band set to headline CHI Health Center on April 9, 2027, alongside Seether, Hoobastank and Hinder. The stacked bill marks one stop on a newly expanded run celebrating the 25th anniversary of Staind’s breakout album, and it puts Omaha squarely on the map for a tour that’s been drawing heavy demand across the country.
The Omaha date is part of a freshly announced 27-city second leg of the band’s Break The Cycle 25th Anniversary Tour, running from March 4, 2027, in Manchester, New Hampshire, through April 16, 2027, in Cleveland, Ohio, according to Revolver Magazine. As KETV reports, Staind will also play Sioux Falls on April 6 and Kansas City on April 10, 2027, bookending the Omaha show within a tight regional swing.
A Tour Built Around a Platinum-Selling Milestone
The run celebrates Break The Cycle, the 2001 album that went seven times platinum after selling more than seven million copies in the U.S., according to Blabbermouth. The album’s single “It’s Been Awhile” spent 20 weeks at No. 1 on modern rock radio, cementing Staind as one of the era’s defining post-grunge acts. The outlet also reports that the band, fueled by the anniversary tour and its Break The Cycle 25th Anniversary Live album, surpassed one billion annual streams across digital platforms in 2026.
Direct support act Seether brings its own commercial firepower to the bill. The band’s album The Surface Seems So Far was due Sept. 20, 2024, and Seether has notched 10 No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart, with more than seven million monthly Spotify listeners, per information from Concord Records. Opener Hoobastank, meanwhile, remains best known for “The Reason,” the 2003 hit that peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, earned two Grammy nominations and has generated more than 1.5 billion streams on Spotify, according to Loudwire. Hoodline previewed Hoobastank’s scheduled appearance as an opener on the fall leg of this same tour in a Noblesville show preview last month.
Hinder Skips Only One Stop on the Run
Co-opener Hinder is scheduled to perform at every stop on the 2027 leg except the tour’s final date in Cleveland on April 16, 2027, according to JamBase. That means Omaha-area fans will get the full four-band bill intact, even as lineups shift slightly elsewhere on the itinerary.
The show lands at CHI Health Center, a 1.1 million-square-foot civic complex operated by the Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Authority, with an arena capacity of up to 18,300. The venue opened in September 2003 as Qwest Center Omaha before being renamed CHI Health Center Omaha in September 2018 under a 20-year, $23.6 million naming rights deal, according to Wikipedia.
From Amphitheaters to Arenas
Before this arena run, Staind’s initial fall 2026 leg of the Break The Cycle anniversary tour kicked off in September and wraps October 19, 2026, at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, the Revolver report notes. That stretch of the tour focused primarily on outdoor amphitheaters, making the spring 2027 dates — Omaha included — a notable step up in scale.
Ticket buyers have a new wrinkle to navigate this time around. Blabbermouth reports that presales for the 2027 leg include a Reserved by Spotify option launching October 7, 2026, giving top U.S. Spotify Premium listeners early access ahead of the general public on-sale October 9, 2026 at 10 a.m., as confirmed by KETV. The arrangement reflects how streaming data is increasingly shaping concert ticketing strategy alongside traditional promoter presales.
The package tour brings Staind, Seether, Hoobastank and Hinder together for an anniversary celebration of Break The Cycle. For Omaha, it’s another sign that CHI Health Center continues to pull in national arena-level tours, giving local fans of that era’s rock radio staples a rare four-band night under one roof.
