Pittsburgh is starting Sunday with clear skies and a chill near 40 degrees, but the afternoon will feel much more forgiving. Sunshine should lift temperatures to about 67 degrees, setting up a warm, dry stretch that will carry into Halloween weekend.
Sunny Afternoon Reaches 67 Degrees
Sunday will stay sunny with light south winds around 2 mph and no rain expected. Temperatures should climb steadily through the morning, reaching the mid-60s by early afternoon before peaking near 67 degrees.
Warm Pattern Holds Through Halloween
Monday looks even warmer, with sunshine and a high near 70 degrees. Tuesday should reach 68 under mostly sunny skies, while Wednesday turns mostly cloudy but remains mild near 70; Thursday and Friday could both reach 73 degrees, followed by a partly sunny Saturday near 73.
How Sunday Compares With Normal
Pittsburgh’s forecast high near 67°F is warmer than the city’s late-October climate normal. The National Weather Service lists a normal high of 60°F for Oct. 25, 2026—about 7 degrees below Sunday’s forecast.
Cool Mornings, Quiet Commutes
Overnight lows will stay seasonably cool, ranging from around 40 degrees Sunday night to the mid- and upper 40s later in the week. According to the National Weather Service, isolated river valleys could see brief early-morning fog Sunday before visibility improves after sunrise, and no watches, warnings or advisories are in effect.
