UB40 is closing out its latest North American run with a stop at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas in The Linq Promenade on Sunday, Nov. 1, bringing a catalog stacked with reggae radio staples and a lineup that still includes four of the band's founding members. The show caps a stretch of touring that has carried the British group across 40 markets since mid-September, marking its fifth consecutive year crisscrossing North America.

A Four-Decade Run Returns to the Strip

Formed in Birmingham, England, UB40 has been recording and touring since 1978, according to vegaspublicity.com. The four-time Grammy-nominated group has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide over that span, the outlet reports. As KSNV notes, the Las Vegas stop will feature a mix of the band's best-known hits alongside newer material.

The Unstoppable Tour's 2026 North American leg began Sept. 18 in Ottawa and runs through the Nov. 1 Las Vegas date, according to Pollstar News. Over that run, UB40 has drawn on a songbook that includes more than 50 UK charting singles and 17 UK Top 10 albums, the trade outlet reports, with a combined 11-plus years spent on the charts. Fans at the Brooklyn Bowl show can expect staples like Red Red Wine and (I Can't Help) Falling in Love With You, songs the band is known for worldwide, per KSNV.

Founding Members Still Anchor the Band

The touring lineup still carries the stamp of UB40's original era. Jimmy Brown remains on drums, Robin Campbell on guitar and vocals, Earl Falconer on bass and vocals, and Norman Hassan on percussion and vocals — all founding members who have stuck with the band since its Birmingham origins, per KSNV and corroborated by Pollstar's reporting on the tour's original and founding members.

They're backed by a touring band that includes Martin Meredith on keyboards, WX7 and saxophone, Jahred Gordon on keyboards, Laurence Parry on trumpet, flugel and trombone, Ian Thompson on saxophone, and Gilly G on MC vocals, according to Pollstar. Lead vocalist and guitarist Matt Doyle fronts the group onstage, having led the band's last four major tours and performed on its 2024 album, UB45, the outlet reports.

A Father-Son Pairing and a New Cover

One of the more personal threads in the current lineup involves Robin Campbell and his son, Matt Campbell, who joined on backing vocals in 2023. Founding member Robin Campbell has been joined onstage by his son Matt, according to an iHeart interview with the pair. KSNV reports that Matt Campbell will perform a first-time onstage duet with Matt Doyle as part of the current shows.

Robin Campbell told iHeart that the band is enjoying a renewed spark on the road, saying, “we literally feel like we're having the most fun we've had in a long time.” He credited the newer additions to the lineup for that shift, adding that it's “the new guys coming in that have reinvigorated us.”

The setlist isn't limited to UB40's own catalog. KSNV reports the band is performing live to U.S. audiences for the first time its cover of Shania Twain's You're Still the One, alongside past U.S. Top 10 hits like Here I Am (Come and Take Me) and The Way You Do the Things You Do.

Lineup Changes and What's Next

UB40's frontman role has shifted hands more than once over the decades. Ali Campbell departed the band in 2008 to pursue a solo career, and Duncan Campbell took over on vocals before retiring in 2021 due to illness, according to KSNV's reporting. Matt Doyle has since stepped into the lead singer and guitarist role.

The band's most recent studio release, 2024's UB45, commemorated the group's 45th anniversary with new songs and reimagined classics, reaching No. 5 on the UK Official Album Chart, per KSNV. Looking ahead, UB40 had planned a new album for 2027, though the band has since said on its official website that it made “the difficult decision to delay the release until early 2027.”
