According to Moore Police Department officials, the injured person was at a fast-food restaurant and suffered serious injuries after being struck by the vehicle she had been driving, per KOCO. The station reported that the incident happened about 6 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of SW 19th and South Telephone Road. The woman was taken to a local hospital to be treated for her injuries, according to police.
A separate OKC FOX report describes another incident, reporting that one person was transported to the hospital with injuries after being struck by a vehicle while riding an electric scooter. That report places the crash on SW 19th Street and Telephone Road near Walmart in Moore. The scooter crash was a separate incident, not a conflicting account of the woman struck by her own vehicle.
