San Antonio is waking to a clear, cool start Wednesday, with temperatures near 57 degrees before sunrise and north winds making it feel brisk. Skies will stay sunny through the afternoon as temperatures climb to about 76 degrees. It is a much calmer setup than Tuesday’s stormy start, with no rain expected in the city today.
The National Weather Service Austin/San Antonio office says light winds will shift from north to northeast and east during the day. The National Weather Service forecast calls for another clear night Wednesday, with a low around 56 degrees.
Thursday Brings Warmth Before The Wind
Thursday will be the warmest day of the stretch, with sunny skies and a high near 79 degrees. The next frontal passage approaches later Thursday and into Friday, but the San Antonio forecast remains dry. Thursday night will bring breezy northerly winds.
Friday will turn slightly cooler but still pleasant, with sunshine, a high near 75 degrees and northerly breezes with gusts up to 25 mph. The gusty conditions could make outdoor plans feel less relaxed, especially in open areas and on exposed roads.
Weekend Showers Stay Possible But Limited
A secondary front brings a small chance of rain beginning Saturday afternoon, when the high is expected to reach about 69 degrees. A 20% rain chance is forecast across the area, especially from midday Saturday to midday Sunday. Sunday’s high will be near 67 degrees. Most locations should avoid a washout, but a few brief showers could interrupt outdoor plans.
Cooler, drier weather returns Sunday night, with temperatures dipping to around 51 degrees. Monday should be sunny with a high near 69, followed by mostly sunny skies and a high near 71 on Tuesday.
