Atlanta Botanical Garden is lighting up for its 16th straight year, with Garden Lights, Holiday Nights set to run nightly from November 14, 2026, through January 10, 2027. This year's lineup brings a new mosaiculture dragon, fresh choreography for one of the show's signature light-and-sound displays, and expanded scenery along the Garden's Flower Walk.
According to BroadwayWorld, Garden Lights, Holiday Nights runs 5 p.m. to midnight every night of its run. The Garden is updating Nature's Wonders, the display it calls the world's largest curtain of synchronized light and sound, with a new soundtrack and new choreography timed to the Garden's 50th anniversary, per the same report. As first detailed by Secret Atlanta, the show also features the Tunnel of Light and Orchestral Orbs, its choreographed glowing orbs display, returning alongside the newer additions.
A Dragon Joins the Garden's Nighttime Lineup
One of the bigger changes this year is a massive, light-wrapped mosaiculture dragon making its Garden Lights debut after appearing in past Imaginary Worlds exhibitions, BroadwayWorld reports. The Anne Cox Chambers Flower Walk is also getting a new lily-of-the-valley-inspired light display, part of what the outlet describes as expanded displays along that stretch of the Garden. Separately, Lauren Bowling ATL also notes the season adds expanded displays along Flower Walk, describing the overall run as stretching from November 14, 2026, through January 10, 2027.
Per Secret Atlanta, tickets include a scheduled arrival timeslot, and except for Premium Plus tickets, they're valid only after that purchased time. Once inside, guests may stay as long as they like, and the show operates rain or shine, with no rain checks offered for inclement weather, the outlet notes. Children ages 2 and younger don't need a ticket, according to the same report.
Late-Night Tickets and Member Deals
Night owls have a cheaper way in this year. Lauren Bowling ATL reports that the lights stay on nightly until midnight, with last entry at 11 p.m., and that discounted Night Light tickets for entry after 9:30 p.m. are now offered every night of the run, starting at $19.95 for adults.
Garden members also got a head start on savings. The Garden's own member page states that from September 1 through 30, members received exclusive early access to purchase discounted tickets, according to Atlanta Botanical Garden. The page also describes a November 12 member premiere offering the season's lowest ticket price. Secret Atlanta additionally notes the show offers new VIP perks and additional ways to save this season.
