Little Giant Antiques is planned for the third floor of Everett Mills, next to an established antiques business. WhatNow reports that the Canal Street Antique Mall is nearby; Antique Trader’s directory describes that mall as having more than 40,000 square feet and over 135 permanent dealers across two mill buildings: Antique Trader.
Jason and Celeste Brodnick, who already run Little Giant Comics & Collectibles in the Lawrence mill, plan to open the new business at 15 Union Street. The multi-dealer space is expected to exceed 15,000 square feet, with a target opening date of January 1, 2027, according to WhatNow.
One planned service is handling submissions to PSA, CGC, Beckett, NGC and PMG. WhatNow reports that customers will be able to bring in cards, comics, coins and paper currency, with the Brodnicks advising on grading options and managing submissions. The shop also plans to offer free evaluations and cost analyses to help customers consider whether grading is worthwhile.
WhatNow reports that the planned merchandise will cover collectibles and antiques, including comics, trading cards, sports memorabilia, toys, art and historical items. The Brodnicks also plan weekend appearances by comic book creators, sports figures and other guests. The space is expected to have new central heating and air conditioning.
Until the new venture opens, customers can visit the couple’s existing Little Giant Comics & Collectibles shop on Everett Mills’ third floor. WhatNow reports that people interested in selling collections can contact Jason Brodnick.
