A Flower Mound bar and grill known for gourmet burgers and wings has planted its flag in Denton, opening a second location in late September in a space with three decades of history behind it. Den10 confirmed the opening through a restaurant representative, according to Community Impact.
Den10 is described as a Texas bar and grill based in Flower Mound, and its Denton outpost serves the same traditional American menu that built its reputation, including gourmet burgers, wings, nachos and a full bar, per the same report. The standout item on the menu is what the restaurant calls Infus'd chicken, which Community Impact reports is marinated in one of five flavors for 24 hours. Den10's own website describes the process a bit differently, stating that every piece of Infus'd chicken is brined a full 24 hours and marinated in house seasoning before it ever reaches the kitchen line, according to Den10's website. Either way, the extended prep time is meant to deliver a particular result: the daylong marination allows the chicken to be juicy and served fast, the site notes.
A Longtime Denton Fixture Makes Way for Something New
The new Den10 location moved into the building formerly occupied by Giuseppe's, which closed after 30 years in the community, the outlet reports. That closure marked the end of a long run for the Italian restaurant, which had become a fixture in Denton over three decades.
Earlier reporting on the transition offers more context on how the space changed hands. The building was bought by Terra Star LLC, which planned to rebrand the restaurant with a more diverse menu, according to the North Texas Daily. At that time, renovation plans called for starting with a revamp of the kitchen, then building a new bar and reconstructing the front and back patio spaces.
Renovation Timeline Shifted Before Doors Opened
That earlier account also noted the new restaurant did not have a set opening date yet, with the project expected to open only after the first round of renovations wrapped up. Those plans reflected where things stood at the time of that report, and the student newspaper's account does not detail which renovations were ultimately completed before Den10 welcomed its first Denton customers in late September.
For now, Den10's expansion gives Denton diners a second local outpost of the Flower Mound original, built around the same gourmet burger and wings lineup, full bar, and signature Infus'd chicken that anchors the restaurant's menu.
