Three-course dinners for as little as $36 are rolling out across Metro Detroit this week as Detroit Restaurant Week kicks off, running from Monday through Sunday, Nov. 8, with two dozen restaurants from Detroit to Birmingham to Sterling Heights putting out special prix fixe menus. Diners can pick from tiers priced at $36, $56 or $76, and a chunk of the proceeds is earmarked for local nonprofits.
The event runs WXYZ Channel 7 reports, spans Nov. 2 through Nov. 8, and according to ClickOnDetroit, this year's edition is officially branded Detroit Restaurant Week 2026. The prix fixe menus, per the event's own site, restaurantweekdetroit.com, come priced at $36, $56 or $76 and exclude tax, gratuity and beverages. WRIF reports that twenty-four metro Detroit restaurants are taking part this time around, serving those same three fixed-price tiers.
Where to Eat Across the Region
The lineup stretches well beyond downtown Detroit. Hiroki-San, LeSuprême, Marrow in the Market, Olin, Ostrea Seafood, Table No. 2, The Whitney, Sexy Steak, Besa and Cibo are all participating in Detroit, while Dearborn diners can hit M Cantina, Roman Village, Kona Grill or Benihana. Birmingham adds Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, Rugby Grille and Besos to the mix, and the suburbs round things out with Ike's Restaurant in Sterling Heights, Novi Craft House in Novi, Republica in Berkley, Arkin's Sweet BBQ Pit in Southfield, and Antonio's Cucina Italiana spread across Canton, Dearborn Heights and Farmington Hills. Fishbone's is serving up its menu at locations in Detroit, Southfield and St. Clair Shores.
Among the standouts, Hour Detroit says Olin Bar & Kitchen is offering its Seasonal Three-Course Experience for $56 a person and Marrow in the Market is running both a three-course option at $56 and a four-course version at $76. Hiroki-San is also participating in Detroit Restaurant Week. LeSuprême, meanwhile, is doing double duty with a $76 French three-course dinner and a $36 Parisian three-course lunch, and M Cantina in Dearborn is also participating.
App Rewards Diners Who Eat Their Way Through the List
Beyond the food, Detroit Restaurant Week officials are leaning on an app to turn the event into something of a competition. The official Detroit Restaurant Week app, available for Android and iOS per WRIF, lets diners browse menus, verify hours and learn more about participating restaurants, according to the same ClickOnDetroit report that first detailed the schedule. Users can also earn points for every participating restaurant they visit, with a shot at winning a gift-card prize.
Exactly how many restaurants it takes to land in the running for that prize depends on which outlet you ask. ClickOnDetroit reports that diners who visit five or more restaurants will be entered into a raffle for a $500 gift-card prize pack, while WRIF's account says eating at four or more restaurants earns a spot in a raffle for a $500 gift-card prize pack. The event website also describes an additional $500 in gift cards for the participant who racks up the most points overall.
A Dollar Per Meal Goes to Local Nonprofits
Organizers are also tying the week to charitable giving. A dollar from every Detroit Restaurant Week meal will benefit local nonprofits, including the Rugiero Promise Foundation, Pewabic Pottery and COTS, according to restaurantweekdetroit.com. Diners should keep in mind that prices listed across the board exclude taxes, drinks and gratuity, and WRIF notes that some restaurants may require guests to dine in for Restaurant Week or may charge a surcharge for takeout orders.
Detroit Restaurant Week officials are also using the moment to make a pitch for generous tipping, asking customers to tip 20% given the deals on offer. Officials said servers work harder during Restaurant Week than during an average week, and that a kind word from diners is welcome since servers are friends and neighbors throughout the community. More details on menus, hours and the full restaurant list are available on the Detroit Restaurant Week website.
