Doja Cat is rolling her neon-lit, synth-heavy Tour Ma Vie World Tour into Orlando, with a stop at Kia Center, 400 W. Church St., scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. next Saturday, November 14. The Grammy-winning artist is touring behind her fifth studio album, Vie, and bringing along special guest Latto for the ride.
Fans can also visit Ticketmaster's Doja Cat page while planning a trip downtown. The November 14 date and 7:30 p.m. start time make the show a possible downtown outing for Central Florida fans weighing a trip. Doja Cat is known for blending catchy pop melodies, hip-hop grit, and an unconventional aesthetic presentation, a combination that has made her one of the more unpredictable headliners currently touring arenas.
Latto's presence on the bill isn't a last-minute addition. Per Pollstar, the Atlanta rapper joined the Live Nation-promoted North American leg as a special guest when it was announced back in July. That run kicked off October 1 in Detroit and is set to include 31 dates total.
An Album Built on 1980s Nostalgia
Vie, the album at the center of the tour, leans hard into retro influences. Variety's review notes that the record “reframes the conventions of 1980s pop without losing herself in the process.” Across the album's 15 tracks, per Variety, she rides what the publication describes as Day-Glo synths and cavernous drum sounds, with producer Jack Antonoff credited on nine of the songs.
What Recent Tour Stops Have Looked Like
Reviews from other cities on the run give a sense of the scale Doja Cat has been bringing to arenas this fall. At Portland's Moda Center on October 17, a brass section featuring trombones and trumpets opened the performance, and dancers later performed a French mime routine, according to Riff Magazine. Latto opened that show and returned to the stage alongside Doja Cat for their collaboration “Okayyy.” Tickets in Portland were listed at $95.
Eight days later, the tour reached Chase Center in San Francisco for a date that had itself been pushed back six days due to a scheduling conflict with the Golden State Valkyries Finals game 3, the Mercury News reported. Once underway, the show featured a two-story stage and a live band anchored by a three-piece horn section, and Doja Cat performed 32 songs over a two-hour set that devoted roughly a third of its material to Vie. The Mercury News also noted a fiery rendition of the 2019 “Hot Pink” track “Streets” loaded with pyrotechnics, with Latto again serving as the opening act.
None of those production details are confirmed for the Orlando stop specifically, but they offer Central Florida fans a preview of the kind of scale the Tour Ma Vie World Tour has carried into other arenas this fall. With ticket prices already circulating on Ticketmaster and the show less than two weeks away, Orlando's turn under the neon lights is set for next Saturday night.
