Downtown Los Angeles is waking Monday to temperatures in the mid-50s, clear skies and a forecast that quickly turns warmer. The city should reach about 75 degrees this afternoon before a longer stretch of dry, sunny weather settles in.
The National Weather Service expects mostly sunny skies Monday, with no rain. Monday night will be partly cloudy, with temperatures dipping to around 57 degrees.
Mid-70s Give Way To Weekend Heat
Tuesday and Wednesday should remain sunny with highs near 76, while Thursday nudges warmer to about 78 degrees. The bigger jump arrives Friday, when Downtown LA could reach near 80, followed by a high near 83 Saturday and highs around 84 Sunday.
The weekend warmth is part of a broader shift toward offshore flow across Southern California. Forecasters say a Santa Ana pattern may develop Friday through Sunday, bringing lower humidity and potentially stronger winds, though the eventual wind strength remains uncertain.
Beach Hazards Continue Through Monday
A Beach Hazards Statement remains in effect through Monday afternoon for portions of the coast, even as Downtown Los Angeles stays dry. Beachgoers should use extra caution around waves and changing surf conditions.
The sunny rebound follows Sunday’s rain and extends beyond the short-term outlook previously covered by Hoodline. For city residents, the week ahead looks like a classic Los Angeles reset: cool mornings, warm afternoons and a weekend that may feel more like late summer than early November.
