From Atlantic Records Deal to Vegas Residency Staple
Flo Rida's career took off after he signed with Atlantic Records on Dec. 20, 2006, the station notes, launching a run of chart hits that made him a fixture on pop radio. Years later, he built out his own business ventures alongside his longtime collaborator, giving him a hand in both music and management beyond his own recordings.
In 2009, he started the management company Strong Arm with his longtime friend and manager, Lee “Freezy” Prince, according to the same report. Flo Rida and Prince went on to launch the record label IMG together in June 2011, expanding their reach in the industry well past Flo Rida's own catalog.
A Foundation Focused on Future Leaders
Beyond the stage and the studio, Flo Rida also started Big Dreams For Kids, a nonprofit foundation committed to inspiring future leaders, per the station's report. The philanthropic work rounds out a résumé that spans two decades, from his Atlantic Records breakthrough to his latest Las Vegas booking.
VegasChanges similarly reported the Jan. 1 show and the same ticketing details, pointing to a New Year's Day crowd ready to pack the Pearl Concert Theater as 2027 begins.
