A new early childhood education center is taking shape at 2613 Legends Way in Crestview Hills, with The Goddard School set to open its doors there in December. The facility will mark the second location owned by Mark and Wendy Reinhart, who have run the Goddard School in Anderson Township since 2010.
According to WLWT, the Crestview Hills center will span 12,000 square feet with 11 classrooms and is expected to serve about 185 students. The NKyTribune, however, puts the building at 12,200 square feet, also citing 11 classrooms and roughly 185 students — the two outlets differ slightly on the exact square footage. The school's own website confirms the timeline, stating, “We can't wait to open in December 2026!” and listing the location as “Coming Soon — Now Enrolling!”
What the New Campus Will Offer
The center is expected to bring approximately 30 teaching jobs to the area, per the NKyTribune's reporting. Planned amenities include an indoor gymnasium along with outdoor learning and play spaces — multiple turf playgrounds, a soccer field and an outdoor classroom, the outlet reports. Once open, the Crestview Hills campus is expected to join 10 other Goddard Schools operating in the Greater Cincinnati area, according to the same report.
Goddard School operates as a network of franchise preschools, daycare centers and early childhood education facilities. The Reinharts' expansion into Kenton County makes the Crestview Hills school their second location overall, building on their Anderson Township, Ohio, location they've run for more than a decade, as noted by WLWT.
Ownership and Acquisition Details
Records show Crestview Real Estate Holdings LLC, organized by Mark Reinhart, acquired the property in April 2025. As reported by WKRC, Reinhart said the site previously housed a Goddard School that closed in recent years, though Reinhart declined to disclose the purchase price of the property. No exact opening date or hours have been set for the new location, according to that report.
A Growing Footprint in the Region
For families in Crestview Hills and the surrounding Kenton County area, the project adds another early childhood option to a market that already counts a handful of Goddard School campuses across the Tri-State. The Reinharts' track record in Anderson Township gives the new site an established operator at the helm, even as the finer details — including the precise square footage and a firm opening date — remain unsettled between reports.
