The Harlem Legends are bringing their Shoot for the Stars youth basketball clinic to Dyersburg.
The Harlem Legends’ Dyersburg event is a youth basketball clinic.
The Harlem Legends are described elsewhere as a collection of professional athletes that includes former Harlem Globetrotters, NBA and NFL players, and past USA Olympians, according to Heart & Soul. That outlet notes the Michael Douglas Youth Foundation also brings the Legends to speaking engagements and festival appearances, with youth basketball camps and clinics as just one piece of its work.
Basketball and Life Skills
Harlem Legends camps combine basketball instruction with life-skills lessons.
The Harlem Legends’ own website frames its Shoot for the Stars programming as offering “a unique learning experience for young basketball players of all skill levels,” per Harlem Legends. The organization’s contact page separately describes its broader Hoops & Health programming as including celebrity basketball games, youth clinics and camps, and a motivational forum, according to Harlem Legends.
Pricing and What's Included
Registration includes an autographed picture and a workout booklet, the Dyersburg flyer states. Basketballs are also available to order separately for $35 each.
On pricing, the flyer itself says the $40 rate applies if a camper registers before November 7, with the cost rising to $50 after that date. A separate extracted summary of the same flyer described the $40 rate as available for registration by November 7. The two versions differ on whether November 7 itself still qualifies for the lower price, and nothing in the available materials resolves that discrepancy.

A State Gazette report described a Shoot for the Stars camp at Dyersburg Sportsplex running June 16–20, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for boys and girls ages 7–14, according to the State Gazette. In that report, the foundation described its mission as equipping young players with both basketball skills and life skills meant to help them off the court as well.
A four-day Harlem Legends camp also came through Anniston, Alabama, for boys and girls ages 7–14 of all skill levels, as reported by Yahoo Sports. That camp cost $140 per camper and included a T-shirt, photo certificate, and workout booklet, with an optional basketball add-on for $30.
