San Antonio starts Monday warm, humid and a little hazy, with patchy fog expected through about 9 a.m. before partly sunny skies take over. Temperatures will climb to around 85 degrees, with strengthening southerly flow. The summer-like feel will not stick around for long.
Storms Arrive After Midnight
A 40% precipitation probability is forecast for Monday night, with a mild overnight low near 70. The National Weather Service Austin/San Antonio office expects a cold front and line of storms to move through the region overnight into Tuesday morning, with damaging winds and large hail the main concerns where stronger storms develop.
San Antonio could see showers and thunderstorms before noon Tuesday, when the rain chance rises to 70%. The high should reach about 77 degrees, with winds turning north Tuesday afternoon.
No watches, warnings or advisories are posted for the area. Even so, Tuesday morning commuters should be ready for wet roads, lightning and reduced visibility, especially if the storm line arrives alongside lingering low clouds.
Fall-Like Weather Takes Over Midweek
Once the front clears, San Antonio gets a much drier and calmer stretch. Tuesday night should be clear with a low near 57, followed by sunny skies and a high around 77 Wednesday.
Thursday's high should be in the 70s, while Friday reaches about 77 under mostly sunny skies. Humidity will ease noticeably, making the midweek forecast feel far more like November than the muggy start to the week.
A possible front could affect the weekend, though its timing remains uncertain. Sunday night's low should be in the 40s or 50s.
