A new restaurant called Silk Road Curry and Crust is set to open on Holland's south side this December, taking over the spot once occupied by Crust 54 at 1145 Washington Ave.
According to The Holland Sentinel, the restaurant will be run by Prem Gurung along with his brothers Him and Purna. The address and former tenant were also confirmed by Reuters Connect, which noted the location sits on Holland's south side in the space formerly home to Crust 54.
Family Venture Targets December Debut
Per Reuters Connect, Prem Gurung and his brothers Him and Purna plan to open Silk Road Curry and Crust this December, though an exact date has not been confirmed. The Holland Sentinel's report named all three brothers as the operators behind the new venture, which will bring a fresh concept to the Washington Avenue corridor on the south side of the city.
The move fills a storefront that had sat without a new tenant since Crust 54 closed, giving south Holland another dining option as the year winds down. No further details on the restaurant's hours, permits, or official opening date have been verified at this time.
