Pacchioni's Cheesesteaks & Pizza is trading its food truck wheels for a storefront, preparing to open its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in the former Pizza Bruno space at 2429 Edgewater Drive in Orlando's College Park neighborhood. The roughly 1,500-square-foot restaurant is set to open in early December, bringing the brand's globally inspired cheesesteaks to a permanent address while adding a brand-new pizza menu to the mix.

Founded by Daniel Pacchioni, the business got its start as a food truck that made its official debut in February 2025, according to restaurantnews.com. Pacchioni is joined in the new venture by longtime friends and business partners Yeosh Bendayan and Jon Ruhff, who have built and operated Push Button Creative Audio, an audio-branding company, and Southeast Chevy Parts, which serves the classic Chevrolet restoration community, per the same report.

The move into a permanent space caps a buildout that started with weekend pop-ups and festival appearances. The food truck turned up at events including Tasty Takeover, Market on Fifth in Apopka and the Fringe Festival, as yourcommunitypaper.com has reported, describing over a year and a half of Pacchioni building his brand and developing the kitchen one weekend at a time.

A Personal Return To College Park

For Pacchioni, the location carries weight beyond the lease. He has been a staple in the arts community for over 15 years and lived just two streets away from the new restaurant for five years, according to restaurantnews.com's report. He said opening his first brick-and-mortar restaurant in College Park felt like coming home.

Pacchioni also credited former Pizza Bruno owner Bruno Zacchini with support and mentorship. Zacchini, who owned Pizza Bruno, said he wanted the space to land in the right hands once it was time to pass the torch. “When it came time to pass the torch, I wanted to make sure the space was in the right hands,” Zacchini said, per the outlet's report, adding that he chose Pacchioni, Bendayan, Ruhff and their team to take over.

Pizza Bruno had opened its College Park location in 2022 as its second outpost, according to pizzabrunofl.com, building a following around South Jersey-style pizzas, large pies and signature fried garlic knots. The spot entered a neighborhood already crowded with pizza and pasta options, a lineup that earlier reporting from Orlando Weekly listed as including Anthony's, Armando's, Ragazzi's, Adriatico, Trevi, Tornatore's, Papa John's and Domino's.

Globally Inspired Cheesesteaks Meet A New Pizza Menu

Pacchioni's existing menu was developed in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Mike Collantes, who is associated with Sushi Saint and Soseki Modern Omakase, the restaurantnews.com report notes. The menu combines familiar comfort food with bold international flavors, anchored by The O.G., a Philly-style cheesesteak loaded with Cheez Whiz, grilled onions and provolone.

From there, things get more adventurous. The K-Drama arrives with Korean-inspired bulgogi glaze, kimchi and sesame oil, while The Island Spice brings Jamaican jerk seasoning, curry aioli and jalapeños. The El Dorado takes a Colombian turn with egg, potato chips and mayo-ketchup, and The Truffle Trésor leans French, built on a truffle oil mix, mushrooms, Dijon mustard, Boursin cheese, fried shallots, onions and provolone. The lineup also includes signature loaded Expedition Fries, all served in what the brand describes as a welcoming, casual neighborhood atmosphere.

The brick-and-mortar restaurant will keep those cheesesteaks while introducing an entirely new lineup of inventive pizzas, filling the same expanded kitchen footprint that once let Pizza Bruno College Park offer its full pizza and pasta program alongside new dishes, Orlando Weekly previously reported. Pacchioni's says it plans to share additional restaurant design, menu and official opening-date details in the coming weeks.

The storefront is just the first stop for a brand with bigger ambitions. Pacchioni has said the business has long-term plans of expanding nationwide, and eventually worldwide, according to yourcommunitypaper.com's earlier profile of the growing operation.
