The Peach Cobbler Factory is opening a shop at 2574 Christmasville Cove, Suite A, and it will be owned and operated by franchisee Eric Knight. The announcement identifies a Jackson storefront for the Nashville-founded chain.
A reader comment on local outlet talknwesttn.com asked for an address for the Jackson location.
Greg George, CEO and co-owner of The Peach Cobbler Factory, said the company is expanding across the South and welcomes Knight to the brand family, according to RestaurantNews.com. George co-owns the company alongside Larry Johnston, a Fortune 50 CEO and former chairman and CEO of Albertsons Inc., and George himself brings more than 25 years of experience building and scaling franchise brands to the partnership.
What's On The Menu
Once open, the Jackson shop will serve the brand's signature lineup of cobblers, banana puddings, cookies, cinnamon rolls, fresh-baked brownies, milkshakes, personal bundt cakes, and celebration bundt cakes, per the same RestaurantNews.com report. A separate description of the broader menu, issued alongside the company's expansion into 24 states, also lists churros and specialty beverages among its offerings, according to restaurantnews.com.
The Peach Cobbler Factory was founded in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2013 and began franchising in 2022. In the years since, the chain has grown well beyond its Tennessee roots, now reporting units operating or in development across more than 26 states.
A Chain On A Southern Growth Streak
Jackson's new shop fits into a broader expansion pattern the company has been touting all year. A March report from restaurantnews.com said the chain had expanded to 24 states and surpassed 130 brick-and-mortar and mobile locations nationwide, with growth coming through both traditional storefronts and non-traditional venues such as airports, stadiums, and arenas.
By May, the company's own announcement of a new Tallahassee, Florida location put the count at more than 130 brick-and-mortar or mobile units in operation, with over 100 additional units in development nationwide, according to a globenewswire.com release. That same release pegged the brand's footprint at more than 25 states, operating or in development, a figure the company has since pushed past with its latest Jackson filing.
The Tallahassee shop offers a glimpse of how quickly these franchise rollouts can move once a sign goes up. That location was set to be owned and operated by father-and-son team Elton Powell and Elton Powell Jr., with a soft opening scheduled for May 9.
