More than 2,500 hot rods, trucks, and classic cruisers are set to roll into the Alameda County Fairgrounds this month for the 36th Fuel Curve Autumn Get-Together, a two-day car show running from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 14 and 15. It marks the final West Coast stop of Goodguys' 2026 season, bringing AutoCross racing, a swap meet, and a Veterans Day tribute to the Pleasanton venue.
The fairgrounds' own event listings confirm the Saturday and Sunday schedule, with Saturday's listing and Sunday's listing both running from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the fairgrounds. The show will feature more than 2,500 Northern California show cars and trucks, according to the fairgrounds, spanning everything from custom builds and trick trucks to lowriders, modern muscle machines, hot rods, classic trucks, and vintage cruisers, per a release carried by the Cincinnati Enquirer. That release notes the show is produced by Goodguys Rod & Custom Association, which it describes as the world's largest hot rodding association and producer of what it calls America's favorite car show.
Addresses for the fairgrounds differ between sources: the Enquirer release lists it at 4501 Pleasanton Avenue, while the fairgrounds' own event page lists 2005 Valley Avenue with entry through Gate 8 or 12. Attendees should confirm the correct entrance before heading out.
Racing, Parades, and a Veterans Day Tribute
AutoCross racing runs both days of the event, with Goodguys AutoCross racers competing for the Fall Shootout champion title, according to the release. The fairgrounds' listing separately confirms AutoCross action featuring the Fuel Curve Fall Shootout as part of the weekend's draw. The Tri-Valley Quarter Midget Association is also set to bring its competition to the fairgrounds on Saturday, per the release.
In honor of Veterans Day, the weekend includes a Vettes for Vets parade with a presentation of colors and a live singing of the national anthem, the release states. Goodguys is offering free event admission to retired and active military members who show proof of service such as a military ID, according to the same release. The weekend builds toward a parade of award winners on Sunday afternoon, closing out the show.
Indoor Displays, a Toy Drive, and Family Activities
Three special indoor displays are planned for the weekend, including an antique military vehicles display and a lowrider showcase organized by Deadend Worldwide, per the release. A similar format played out at the 35th edition of the show last November, when Pleasanton Weekly reported indoor displays of trick trucks, Ford Thunderbirds, and a lowrider area organized by Deadend Magazine, alongside a Vettes for Vets parade, AutoCross, a demolition derby, a vintage dragster exhibition, a swap meet, and a Cars 4-Sale Coral.
This year's event also features the Nitro Thunderfest vintage dragster exhibition, a swap meet and Cars 4-Sale Coral, live music, and special parking areas, according to the release. The Alameda County Toys 4 Tots chapter will collect new, unwrapped holiday toys inside Building A, and Goodguys is offering a $10 merchandise coupon to attendees who donate a toy, the release states. Families can also visit the Family Fun Zone, which offers games and an Auto World model car make-and-take activity.
Admission and Parking
Junior admission for ages 7 to 12 is listed at $10 online or $11 at the gate for daily entry, according to the fairgrounds' event page. Parking is listed at $15, with credit, debit, and mobile tap-to-pay accepted, the fairgrounds notes. The event's return follows a similar run last November, when the 35th Autumn Get-Together brought a comparable mix of late-model muscle cars, traditional hot rods, classic trucks, and vintage cruisers to the same fairgrounds, according to Pleasanton Weekly's coverage at the time.
