Sacramento is waking up to clear skies and temperatures in the upper 40s Wednesday, with a sunny afternoon ahead and a high near 68 degrees. North winds will add a noticeable chill, with gusts of 15–25 mph strongest Wednesday afternoon.
Sunny Afternoon, Breezy Start
The National Weather Service Sacramento office says any early fog in parts of the Valley and lower foothills should clear by late morning. After that, expect bright skies, dry conditions and temperatures slipping back through the 60s toward evening, with a low around 47 overnight, according to the National Weather Service.
Thursday looks a little warmer, with sunshine and a high near 71 under lighter northwest winds. Friday should stay sunny near 69, while overnight lows remain cool in the mid-to-upper 40s.
Warm Weekend Weather Holds
The weekend is shaping up nicely for outdoor plans, with sunny skies and highs around 71 Saturday and 72 Sunday. The forecast remains mostly dry through Tuesday, though forecasters are watching for a possible shift toward wetter weather in the middle to latter part of next week.
That potential pattern change is still uncertain, and Sacramento's near-term forecast remains generally dry. For now, the best strategy is simple: bring a jacket for the morning, then enjoy the unusually cooperative November afternoons.
