The 2020 Attack in Southwest Santa Rosa

Back in February 2020, a teen was stabbed and a friend punched by a group of at least three people at a park in southwest Santa Rosa, according to a report from pressdemocrat.com. Police at the time believed that attack stemmed from rivalry between the Norteño and Sureño street gangs, and the 18-year-old victim suffered four to seven stab wounds, most of them in his torso.

Santa Rosa police are investigating the current stabbing through the department's Gang Crimes Team.
