A Broader Picture of Missing Children Cases
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation maintains its own missing children page, though the agency notes that the children listed there do not represent every missing child in the state. Per the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, those posted on its site may be in a variety of circumstances, including parental abductions, at-risk children, or those who've left home on their own.
Sevierville has seen missing-child alerts resolve quickly before. In a separate case reported by WATE, a 6-year-old boy who was believed to be with his non-custodial father, Jorge Ramos Lopez, 34, was last seen near Ten Point Lane in Sevierville before being found safe around 11:25 a.m., with Lopez taken into custody. That case is unrelated to Richardson's disappearance, and nothing in the current alert indicates a similar outcome.
