Two 18-year-old women died after being struck while crossing North Center Street in Mesa, in a crash that happened in the dark and rain early Sunday and left investigators searching for a possible third vehicle involved. One woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other died later at a hospital, according to police.
Mesa police officers responded to the crash near Center Street and McKellips Road at about 12:57 a.m. Sunday, according to FOX 10 Phoenix.
