El Paso woke Monday to mostly clear skies and temperatures near 61 degrees; the NWS aviation forecast called for southwest surface winds of 7 to 10 knots before 17Z Monday, November 2, 2026. The city is headed for a sunny but blustery day, with temperatures reaching about 70 degrees before sliding into the low 60s late Monday afternoon.
Wind Takes Over Monday
The National Weather Service aviation forecast called for west winds of 17 to 23 knots with gusts to 33 knots after 17Z Monday, November 2, 2026. Rain chances remain at 6% or lower in El Paso, making the wind the main concern for commutes, errands and anything lightweight left on a patio, according to the National Weather Service.
Monday night should turn mostly clear and calmer, with temperatures dropping to around 50 degrees. A High Wind Warning remains in effect until 4 p.m. Monday for the Sacramento Mountains, where gusts could reach 70 mph; conditions there will be considerably rougher than in the El Paso lowlands.
Sunny Stretch Arrives Tuesday
Tuesday brings sunshine, lighter winds and a high near 70, followed by a low around 49 Tuesday night. Wednesday looks like the warmest day of the week at about 75 degrees, while Thursday and Friday should reach roughly 73.
The mostly sunny and dry pattern continues into the weekend. The new dry outlook is a notable shift from Sunday's storm-focused forecast, which had called for gusty weather before a cooler week, as Hoodline previously reported.
