Sacramento's popular Iraqi restaurant Sumer Nights was closed after a March 26 reinspection found live cockroaches still present in the kitchen, including on the walls above the warewashing sink and steam table, one day after the facility had already failed a routine inspection for the same problem.

About 30 bags of flour, beans, and oatmeal went straight to the dumpster.
Pop-Up Favorite Rang Coffeehouse Locks In South Sacramento Storefront
A 'coming soon' sign at 7411 W. Stockton Blvd suggests Rang Coffeehouse is moving from pop-ups into a permanent Sacramento storefront in the former Crab N Spice space. The Business Journal reported the sign but no opening date has been announced.
