Just seven months after leaving their Outer Richmond location at Balboa Street and 36th Avenue, California cuisine restaurant Cassava is opening a new spot, at their old Balboa Street and 36th Avenue location.

The new Andytown Coffee location in the Richmond District, across the Great Highway from Ocean Beach, is now open. The sprawling space is the company’s fifth location and the biggest by far.

A new Andytown Coffee location is opening across the street from Ocean Beach, two miles north of where it was founded in the Sunset.

Both the Cliff House and Louis’ Restaurant locations will be getting new restaurant tenants, but we won’t know who they are until all sorts of National Park Service red tape and bureaucratic hurdles get worked out.

We’re now learning the shuttered Cliff House was broken into and robbed in late January, with thieves making off with vintage historical decor that was scheduled to be auctioned off next month.

The Rotunda at Neiman Marcus is closing indefinitely, and beloved neighborhood wine bar and cafe Orson's Belly is calling it quits.
