Durham police and the HEART Team have blocked off the 4500 block of Dolwick Drive after a person barricaded themself inside; a perimeter is in place and the investigation is active.

Police identified 22‑year‑old Jahmere Williams‑Johnson as the victim of an early‑morning Garden Valley shooting on June 21. Investigators say the shooter fled and no arrests have been made.
