It's a good week to be a San Francisco bicyclist.
First, news came that the 4-year injunction on citywide bike plans was lifted on Friday, meaning a slew of new bike lanes, racks, and safety measures will be coming to fruition around San Francisco starting ASAP. Now, a free bike wash! To celebrate the completion of the repaving of Steiner at Duboce Park, the SF Bike Coalition will be hosting a FREE bike wash tomorrow night from 5-7pm. If you're commuting home via the Wiggle anyway, why not stop off and get your Schwinn swabbed? (That sounds dirty, but it's actually quite the opposite.) Enjoy, Wigglers!
